Jesus and the Boy With an Unclean Spirit

It’s easy for us to fall into the trap of seeking honor for ourselves and climbing to a higher status. This parable reminds us that God honors the humble, not the self-seeking.

Jesus and the Woman Caught in Adultery
This week Jacob Hawk from the Faith Village Church of Christ in Wichita Falls talks about this story from John 8, where a woman caught in adultery is brought before Jesus with the intent of trapping Him with the impossible question of how she should be punished. Instead Jesus diffuses the situation showing His compassion for her and leaves her with the simple words, “Go and sin no more.”
